StorageByMail.com is easy. Simply print a pre-paid shipping label from our site, affix it to a box containing the items you want to store and let the U.S. Postal Service do the rest. By updating your personal inventory page, you can keep track of the contents of any box in storage and schedule a return delivery whenever you're ready.

What Kinds Of Things Can I Store?
You can store virtually anything in our warehouse from documents or collectibles to excess inventory or seasonal clothing. However, for obvious reasons, we must prohibit perishable items, hazardous materials, chemicals, or anything else that just plain defies common sense. The contents of your packages must also comply with all U.S. Postal Service regulations.

Can I Open A Small Business Account?
Of course. StorageByMail.com is an ideal service for small business owners. Accounts can be opened in an individual's name or in the name of the business.

Where Will My Stuff Be Stored?
Every box will be stored in our secure climate-controlled warehouse located in northern New Jersey. Our advanced security system, and inventory tracking will keep your package safe and secure. The temperature in our warehouse never falls below 55 degrees or above 80 degrees and humidity is maintained at a safe level.

Will StorageByMail.com open my package?
Absolutely not. Your package will be stored in the same packaging it was received in.

How Will I Keep Track Of The Things I've Stored?

By updating your personal inventory page on StorageByMail.com, you'll always know exactly what you have in storage. You'll have an opportunity to describe the contents of each box when you print your shipping labels.

How Will I Get My Things Back?
To schedule a return delivery, simply login to your personal inventory page and tell us which box you want returned. We'll ship it out immediately. Storage charges will end the moment it leaves our warehouse.

How Is StorageByMail.com Better Than A Self Storage Facility?
With self storage, you're forced to pay the same monthly fee regardless of how much space you actually use. You'll also have to transport your own packages to a facility that, in most cases, is not located in the safest part of town. On the other hand, with StorageByMail.com you'll pay for the space you need and not a penny more and will enjoy the convenience of door-to-door delivery.

How Much Does It Cost?
At StorageByMail.com, you pay only for the storage space you use. When we receive your packages, we'll price them according to their exact dimensions and weight. Your account will then be charged on a monthly basis for the duration each package is in storage. Compare that to your local mini storage facility where you'll be charged a monthly fee regardless of how much of the unit's capacity you actually use.

Is StorageByMail.com Affiliated With The U.S. Postal Service?
StorageByMail.com is not owned by or affiliated with the United States Postal Service in any way. We chose the USPS as our shipping service because it offers a vast network of post offices and reliable delivery. We are always looking to improve our service though and are considering adding a UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL delivery option in the near future.
